Opening of the new WECC seat in Shanghai

Shanghai hosted in 2010 the Universal Exposition “Better City, Better Life”, one of the major World Expo since 1992, with over 73 million visitors and 246 participant Countries and International Organizations. For this reason Shanghai was chosen to host the main Asian seat of the World Expo Commissioners Club. The seat is located in the Pudong District, which was the most important venue of Expo Shanghai 2010.

The opening of the WECC seat in Shanghai was held on the 25th of February in the presence of Mrs. Nausika Spahia, WECC Executive Vice-President, and Mr. Wang Hui, Executive Pavilion Director of the China Corporate United Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 and WECC Vice-President for Asia: “The Shanghai seat – Wang Hui said – will be a platform to promote trade and economic pluralism, cultural exchanges and cooperation and to promote the process of International brands in Asia”.

The lounge of the new Shanghai seat is at Members disposal upon presentation of the membership card. Members will benefit from a 20% discount on Food & Beverage consumption.
