Countdown to Expo 2016 Antalya
Countdown has started for the opening of Expo 2016 Antalya “A Green Life for Future Generations”, which represents a new opportunity for the World Expo Commissioners Club to pursue its goal of intercultural dialogue and networking.
The first Expo ever organized in Turkey will be held from 23rd April to 30th October 2016 in an area of about 11,000 square meters which will become a permanent botanical exhibition after the end of Expo. National and International congresses, panels, meetings and seminars will be organized during Expo and over 8 million visitors are expected to come to Antalya. The theme “Flowers and Children” has four sub-themes: Horticultural History, Biodiversity, Sustainability and Green Cities. This will be a great chance to promote the values of sustainability and environment protection along with the beautiful touristic attractions of the whole country.
